That Sort Of Sucked
It's one thing for NBC to show a one-hour "preview" special for Heroes that, for the ten minutes or so that I saw it, was excessively banal and self-indulgent.
It's another thing entirely for my DirecTV to then air a black screen for the first HOUR of the two-hour premiere of Heroes, meaning that I won't be able to see any part of that show until the weekend when it is re-aired. (I probably could watch it on TV, but Daddy didn't buy himself a 46" High Definition LCD TV to watch shows on his computer.)
Lame, DirecTV. Lame.
I love Heroes, but I just wish people who dies, stay DEAD!
ReplyDeleteYeah - thanks DTV for a shitty receiver. The problem with this problem is that it si the actual receiver, the forums have no answer nor does tech support, it happens randomly, and has nothing to do with the signal you're getting.
ReplyDeleteIn another industry - one that has actual competition (not just one other TV provider to choose from), you might fire DTV and move on. But...alas...I'm betting the hassle is just too great. I know it is for me.
